Music is at the heart of our Christ Church community and is one of the primary ways in which we worship, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Under the direction of Scott Hanoian, our choirs sing at over 50 choral worship services every year, including Choral Liturgies on Sunday mornings and Choral Evensong on select Sunday afternoons (September through the beginning of June). The choirs also sing at special liturgies, including the Advent and Epiphany Processions, Christmas and Easter Lessons and Carols, the Feasts of the Presentation and Ascension, and the triduum liturgies in Holy Week.
Our choirs, as well as guest artists from the surrounding area and beyond, also participate in our yearly concert series Soaring Sounds in a Sacred Space, which includes performances of many of the great works for chorus and orchestra.
