Established in 1930, Christ Church is a vibrant and inclusive community of faith bringing God and people together to know and live the Good News of Jesus Christ. Located in Grosse Pointe Farms, Christ Church is a growing parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. Enriched by our worship and enlivened by our friendships we are a community called to serve Christ in all people and in all places.
The Right Reverend Dr. Bonnie A. Perry is the Bishop of Michigan and the spiritual leader of the Episcopal Church in Michigan.
The Reverend Andrew (Drew) Van Culin is the 10th Rector of Christ Church. As Rector, Fr. Drew provides vision and executive leadership for the Christ Church community, oversees the staff, serves as Chair for the Vestry, and represents the Christ Church ministry and community to the city and beyond. Fr. Drew is joined in ministry by a highly committed team of clergy, lay professionals, and support staff who collaborate with countless lay volunteers to support and expand the ministry of Christ Church.
The Vestry is the principal congregational leadership team. With the Rector, the Vestry is responsible for discerning God’s vision for Christ Church, and for providing the resources necessary to support the ministry of God at Christ Church. Members of the Vestry welcome your comments and suggestions.
