Camino | Grades 9 – 12
Camino is the Spanish word for journey - and that's exactly what this is: a journey of faith, friendship, and community for every high school aged young person in our parish, and beyond (friends are most welcome!). Camino Small Groups are our high school ministry: five to seven young people meeting weekly for one hour of faith sharing and formation. Every Thursday we meet altogether for social and One Big World and on three Sundays during the year – Nov. 8, Feb. 14 and April 25 – we join together for a service day at Crossroads.
Find Your Time
- We offer multiple weekly meeting times so that sports, activities, and busy schedules don't stand in the way of participation:
- Tuesday afternoon, 3:30 – 4:30 pm
- Tuesday evening, 5 – 6 pm
- Wednesday evening, 6 –7 pm
- Thursday afternoon, 3:30 – 4:30 pm
- Sunday morning, 10:15 – 11:15 am
What We Study
Camino groups follow a combined study guide pairing C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity with David Fleming, SJ's What Is Ignatian Spirituality?
22 sessions running September 27, 2026 through April 25, 2027.

Dreaming Bigger: A Future Pilgrimage
We are in the early, prayerful stages of considering a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, Spain - one of the oldest and most beloved pilgrimage routes in the Christian tradition. This is still a tentative plan, but we're excited enough to start preparing now. If it moves forward, significant fundraising will take place over the next two years, and scholarships will be available so that no young person is kept from participating by finances. For now, joining a Camino Small Group is the most important first step.
