October – May
Wednesdays: 6:45–8 pm
Miller Hall
“Our souls are restless until we find our rest in thee.” – St. Augustine of Hippo (Bishop and Theologian)
Do you want to live more like Jesus? Do you want to explore what it means to be baptized or to live the baptized life of Christ? Do you want to better understand the Christian life and faith we have inherited as Episcopalians here at Christ Church?
These and other foundational questions will be explored over the course of the program year with Fr. Drew and other participants in the Catechumenate.
At the heart of the Catechumenate lies our baptism in Christ, the moment in time when the fullness of God’s love is proclaimed to us and we, in turn, commit the fullness of our life to Christ.
Those wishing to be baptized, confirmed, or received into The Episcopal Church are particularly encouraged to join the catechumenate, as are those who want to explore again the meaning of their baptism and the foundational teachings of the Episcopal Church. Finally, this annual program sits at the heart of our community and forms the foundation of formation for adults. All are welcome to participate.
Join Father Drew to explore the Christian life!
